Although we're unapologetically all about the soul, sometimes you need to shake things up. Here's what raw and righteous rock & roll we have coming up soon.
Our monthly Barefootin' night is being joined by DJ Daniel Finnemore from I Dig Your Wig, combining Mod, soul, club jazz and more with raw and rare rock and roll cuts. This is a night for true music fans onFriday, March 8th!
This is one tribute band who embody rock and roll, taking you back to the sights and sound of The Doors in their prime. The Strange Doors replicate a live Doors experience, expect jazzy organ solos, bluesy slide guitars and singer who jumps and writhes on stage as he summons The Lizard King. Catch The Strange Doors live on Saturday, March 16th!
Fuzz fuelled trio The Good Water bring sonic guitars and smooth organ grooves that reinvents everything you know about psychedelic pop and rock and roll. Their unique style takes the much loved nostalgia from the 1960s and brings it up to speed with indie music of the now. Catch them on Saturday, March 30th with support from Beach For Tiger.
We're pleased to welcome back by popular demand one of the best tributes to Led Zeppelin. Fred Zeppelin were voted one of the best live bands to see by Kerrang! Magazine, as well as having Robert Plant himself attend three of their gigs. If that's not enough of a recommendation to see Fred Zeppelin on Friday, May 17th, we don't know what is!
Don't forget, you can check all of our events over on The Night Owl website, including Le Freak which has been nominated for Birmingham's Best Club Night in the Birmingham Music Awards, as well as our weekly soul and retro club night Dig? You can grab tickets for our events over from The Ticket Sellers.
